WS 2009/2010
Felicity Cunningham
Felicity is a mutual friend of Simon and Cynthia. She not only enjoys playing tennis on the manor’s lawn but also likes to be in a house of a titled family. Although she is slightly younger than Cynthia she has a lot with her in common and she is in love with Simon, too. But Simon prefers Cynthia to her, which gives her a motive to commit murder.
After having had the role of the old and rather inconspicuous Mrs Bamberger last semester, Rebekka is playing the 13-year-old Juliet who is unhappy with her Romeo, constantly wants to kill herself, and falls in love with Constance. And we couldn’t have found a better actress for that role because she plays Juliet with so much persuasiveness that it seems as if she spends all her waking hours bringing Shakespearean characters to life. But that’s not all, because she also plays a lying student, Jill, who can’t turn in her assignments in time.
When Rebekka is not on stage, she studies French, English, and Economics in her second semester.
WS 2007/08
Mrs Bamberger
Rebekka is new in the company and shares the role of Mrs Bamberger with Maike Baumgärtner.
This is the smallest but most talked about role of the play. The millionaire from Germany is old, rich and very deaf. Nevertheless, her opinion as an art expert and collector is very important and could influence Brin’s career sustainably. Pictures of Brin’s art caught her attention and urged her to see it for herself. As she rarely leaves her house, this is indeed an extraordinary honor for Brin. Unfortunately, things get mixed up with Miss Schuppanzigh and an open trap door might cause another catastrophe…
